You are welcome to explore workshops, learn about materials and techniques, and ask questions without any obligation to purchase. If something genuinely appeals to you, we can help you explore your options.
2. Can you help us find a handmade carpet or rug with traditional Indian designs?
Yes. We can help you explore suitable carpet and rug workshops or showrooms based on your preferred designs, materials, size and budget. Whether you are interested in traditional Indian motifs, hand-knotted wool carpets or contemporary designs, we can help you understand the differences and make a more informed choice.
3. Can we visit a particular artisan or shop that interests us?
Certainly. If you have a specific craft, artisan, workshop or showroom in mind, let us know before your visit. We will do our best to incorporate it into your itinerary, subject to availability, location and the time required.
4. Can we take a longer lunch break during the experience?
Of course. This is a private experience, so we can adjust the pace to suit you. If you prefer a leisurely lunch or would like extra time to relax between visits, simply let us know. Your itinerary can be adapted around your interests and available time.
7. How do you help us choose quality handmade products?
We help you ask the right questions about materials, craftsmanship, production methods and pricing. For products such as carpets, textiles, jewellery and gemstones, we can explain relevant differences and suggest appropriate questions to ask sellers. Independent testing or formal certification, where needed, should be confirmed separately.
8. Is the artisan experience private, or will we join other travellers?
The experience is designed for your own private group, allowing you to explore at a comfortable pace and focus on the crafts that interest you most. Please confirm your group size and preferred itinerary when booking.
9. Can we customise the experience around our interests?
Yes. You can tell us which crafts interest you most, whether you prefer meeting artisans, learning about traditional techniques or exploring selected shopping destinations. We will shape the itinerary around your priorities, subject to travel time, opening hours and availability.
10. How much time should we allow for the experience?
The ideal duration depends on your interests and the number of crafts you would like to include. A shorter visit can focus on a few selected crafts, while a longer experience allows more time for conversations, demonstrations and considered shopping. Share your priorities with us so we can recommend a suitable itinerary.
5. Can you arrange airport pickup and drop-off along with the experience?
Yes! When you book our Premium Full-Day Artisan Experience or Premium Full-Day Jaipur City Experience, complimentary pickup from and drop-off at Jaipur International Airport on the same day are included. Simply share your flight details with us in advance so we can coordinate your arrival and departure smoothly, making your Jaipur experience as comfortable and convenient as possible.
6. Can we see how traditional crafts are made?
Yes, where workshops are available and visits can be arranged, we aim to introduce you to the people and processes behind Jaipur's traditional crafts. Depending on the craft and the day's schedule, you may learn about block printing, jewellery making, carpet weaving, blue pottery or other artisan techniques. Live demonstrations are subject to the artisan's availability and ongoing work.
11. Are purchases, meals and shipping included in the experience price?
Personal purchases, meals and shipping are separate unless explicitly stated in your booking confirmation. Product prices and delivery arrangements vary by seller and item. If you intend to ship a large carpet, artwork or other purchase internationally, discuss packaging, shipping costs, insurance and applicable customs requirements directly with the seller before buying.
